A man has been charged with murder after a fatal house fire in Birmingham.
Daniel Gardner, 37, died in hospital after he was seriously injured in the blaze on Saxons Way, Highters Heath, shortly after 01:00 BST on Friday.
Stephen Dale, 47, of Cherrywood Road, Birmingham, is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with Mr Gardner’s murder, West Midlands Police said.
A force spokesperson said officers were continuing to investigate the incident and have urged anyone with information or footage to get in touch.
