A former police officer has been arrested on suspicion of non-recent sexual offences.
The arrest was made on Wednesday following an investigation from the Police Ombudsman.
The Ombudsman said the offences had been committed while the man was on-duty and a serving police officer.
These include misconduct in public office as well as a number of serious sexual offences.
