Sixth form student killed in Tadcaster minibus crash named


A teenage student who died in a crash involving a minibus and a car in North Yorkshire has been named.

Eleanor Hague, 16, a sixth form pupil at Tadcaster Grammar School, died when the minibus collided with a Hyundai i10 in Toulston Lane on Monday.

North Yorkshire Police said there were eight other passengers aged 16 to 18 on the bus, one of whom suffered serious injuries.

The force said the driver of the car, a 40-year-old woman, was arrested following the crash but had since been released on police bail.
